What does radio play mean?
Radio play means a recorded play where it is broadcasted on radio
or published on audio media, such as tape or CD. Radio
drama depends on dialogue, music and sound effects to help the listener imagine
the characters and story. Radio drama achieved development in the 1920s. By the 1940s, it was becoming
popular. however, radio drama lost some of its popularity, and in some countries
it has never regained large audiences. however now they use Radio Play in schools, museums, at home and in cars.

Give me an idea of what it was about i.e. the plot.
It is about a man named Toby who believes that he is Kanye West the singer which he has a popular role model wife called Kim Kardashian but in reality he is just a normal guy from Newport and has a wife called Olivia.
Give me an idea of what it was really about i.e. the theme.
Its about a man named Toby who believes that he is Kanye West but in reality he is just a normal guy from Newport. Dr Newman is trying to help him see the truth and so that he can get his life back on track. Toby didn't have sleep at all for a year. He raps all of Kanye Wests songs, He believes that he has 8000 screaming fans watching him rap, he also believes that he is Hollywood star and very wealthy man. Dr Newman says that his mental health is very fragile and his wife doesn't want hi home due to this mental health. Toby doesn't believe Dr Newman so she shows the footage of what happened in his house but however Toby still doesn't believe it, he thinks that an actor played this role. As Toby tries to still believe that he is Kanye West, the power goes of and Toby gets terrified. When the power goes back on, Toby tries to not go to sleep but he ends up falling asleep and having nightmares and flashbacks. The doctor wakes him up, asks him how does he feel but he didn't know what she meant. As she told him that he was asleep for 16 hours, he was shocked at first but then apologized to the doctor. He explains how it was hard being himself and then he feels lighter when being himself, not someone else. So now the doctor wants Toby to introduce himself and Toby now tells true information about his life and admits that he isn't Kanye West. They will be putting Toby in sheltered house unit to keep on eye on him and settle down into a normal life. Toby was thankful to the doctor and was fully ready to have a normal life without being "Kanye West".

In order to get Toby to tell the truth and to get enough sleep is to lock him him to a prison facility and keep on asking the same questions until he tells the truth and realises who he really is.
What did you like about the writing, performance, story?
What I like about this story is that it represents people who think that being someone else makes there lives better in so many ways but in reality there lives could be a bit difficult and stressful. This story is trying to teach us that being yourself could make you feel better and show that you have been chosen to be this character, in this life, there is a reason why you have been created in this world.

I have learnt new skills and gained confidence from getting to know people and performing on stage.
